Stop Barking And Join ACA!

Hey all you NATOs (No Action Talk Only). Yes YOU, YOU and YOU!

Stop hiding behind YOUR computer screen and instead of whining/complaining/protesting how corrupted YOUR government is or how you DON'T LOVE YOUR country anymore bla bla bla yadda, why don't YOU put YOUR words into ACTION and join the Anti-Corruption Agency?

Ohh, I can see a some of YOU retreating into denial state AGAIN!

Self-righteous asses!!

If there is a government that is not corrupted at all, then I would sell goreng pisang.

The denial pill is always sweeter perhaps.

No offence but i think your words were a little too strong. Furthermore, ACA is not itself devoid of corruption, fyi.

I love Malaysia, but it is the system that needs changing. But it's not a fully democratic country - any perceived anti-government activity would result in detention, under ISA. As a result, the only way for people to voice out their feelings, concern or outrage is through writing, perhaps anonymously.

Therefore, YOU should not be too quick to judge people.

Patriot :

I take no offence at criticisms, rather, I loathe them.

It is true corruption exists in every nook and corner of the world, however, it is up to the non-corrupted individual(s )to FIGHT and make THAT change. Writing alone is never enough. You have to get your hands dirty and walk the talk.

Martin Luther King. Nelson Mandela. Dr Sun Yat Sen.

They are only some of the individuals who fought and made a difference.

Are YOU one? Perhaps not.

Like YOURSELF, I am not one of those great man, and I admit it. Sometimes, it is easier said than done. Amuone can talk the talk, just look at our politicians but how many can walk the walk. It's true, just writing about it may not be enough, but it's a start. Maybe one person writing may not get the attention, but when 100 or 1,000 or 10,000 people start writing about it will they then get noticed. You don't have to be a martyr to make the world a better place - I am no great man, but at least I have the decency not to disrespect the opinions of others, however they choose to voice them.

As for whether or not there are people fighting the good fight, we shall have to wait for the findings of the independent enquiry...

Pre-revolutionary Che Guevara once said up in the mountains.

"We would need guns to start a revolution. Democracy will take years to solve."

Then again I am an exclusive member of NATO. I get free massages every Thursday.

You need a massage patriot? Don't bother Lord V. He is furious that he doesn't get free massages.

It is good that you are able to distinguish politicians who only yak till the cow comes.

Indeed, 1,000 - 10,000 starts writing, things MAY change, however, ONLY IF they are written after putting thoughts into it and substantiated by relevant facts/law.

"Independent Inquiry" (I believe you are referring to this) :

Sad to say, a large number of the entries pinged (PPS of course) are filled with childish statements which do no hold any ground for instance, they did not even know that ear squats being a SOP and they go on criticising the policewoman (some inserted the word "tudung" - which has no relevance at all to the issue at question) and the policeman capturing the act should not be faulted (there shouldnt be anyone else in the room/vicinity, windows included) and profanities thrown here and there. Jumping at the very opportunity to slander without using their brains. Why? Because they are behind the computer screen i.e. anonymous. GhostHack has made the point in his "How Selective Can One Be?" post.

Being ignorant of the law is not a good excuse.

What can be done now is to fight for human rights.

Voicing opinion is bound to attract criticism if not approval, no?

Me applied to join ACA but they say me not too good.Harap maaf.

In the first place how honest is ACA in dispensing their duties. ACA should be independent & not dictated by political guys higher up.

For example look at Anwar's corruption case.Someone guy says Anwar stashed away million of RM overseas,& without due consideration ACA send a few to America to "siasat" in which bank the monies were kept.

U think the US bank that stupid to cooperate with you? Me met one of this ACA guy at LA international airport years back & politely asked him how successful was he in his siasatan. His reply was "macam cari jarum dalam himpunan jerami"

Well, public funds were wasted for one stupid job. Sedangkan, there are so many cases of corruptions, abuse of power among ministries, ministers, perbandaran officers or even in UMNO sendiri etc..etc.. what is ACA doing about it?
But,sorry to say to UMNO corruption tak wujud only "politik wang" & you(ACA)guys are laughing all along.

Now me know why ACA rejected my appication?

BRAVO to you for taking one step further, the act of application itself has already shown how serious you are in seeking changes.
